Ear Prompter Masterclass

This goes way beyond teaching you how to use the ear prompter. We also coach you through the performance styles and nuances of all of the major acting categories where the ear prompter is often used. And we provide pro-insight into those industries.


Many folks will say it's easy to learn the ear prompter. Takes just a day to learn. Stick it in your ear, hit play, and repeat the lines you hear. That's it. And that's true. It's that easy... if you don't want to be very good at it. If you don't want to work consistently with major national producers. But if you want loads of pro tips, industry insight, and highly informed feedback on your performances... you don't want to miss this course.


We were recently sitting at dinner at an upscale Vegas restaurant talking with our producer for a major global client, when the producer (unsolicited) said "I see loads of performers who say they are 'ear prompter proficient' but most of them do not have the mastery I need to be able to hire them."


Most of the performers they audition are missing at least one key element... And that one key element lives on top of a framework of skills too often skipped past in their training. So yeah, we make sure you have ALL the tools to become truly PROficient.

Live Office-Hours

Inside, you'll find multiple Zoom office hours you can attend each week, hosted live by one of our coaches. Bring your recorded homework for feedback, ask acting or business questions, or work live on-camera to hone your performance.


When do these office hours happen? Typically we meet Tuesday 9am, Wednesday 9am, Wednesday 6pm, Thursday 12pm (All times CT), plus some Saturdays and occasional special meetings. (schedule may vary) Can't make a meeting? We've still got you covered with Flex-Coaching!

    This is our asynchronous portion of the class. 


    You work, polish, record, and submit your performance on specific assignments.  One of our coaches will give you detailed recorded feedback as they watch through your performance, pointing out what works and what needs work per current industry styles.


    Be confident that you are implementing the lessons successfully. Finish the course with a career game plan specific to YOU, just as you would with a live class.

    Well, with your 2 free months of The Practice, we've got you covered with MULTIPLE live weekly meetings that are totally optional. So it's like a class, but more flexible.


    We stayed away from a restrictive 8-week-once-a-week class...


    Because we can teach you SO much more in this format. Seriously. There are 26 assignments built into this beast. 100+ lessons. An 8 week class? Typically about 8 assignments. It doesn't take a ear-prompter-scientist to do that math...


    Because a much larger percentage of your time is spent focusing on YOUR work, not sitting listening to other people work their material during a 3 hour class once a week. Learning from others is important, and we've got that built into this course.


    Because this is how the acting industry works in real life these days. Actors do all the prep work remotely until the actual gig. Our homework recording and submission process has a very similar flow to how you do auditions in the professional world. So we build good habits from the beginning.

    Are the Flex-Coaching sessions live? What are they?

    No, Flex Coaching is not live. But we DO have a live component of this class called The Practice. 


    Flex coaching means you record your takes for that assignment, then submit them on the platform. (Don't worry- we thoroughly teach you how to record and share your work!)


    Our teachers then record themselves in a review session where they watch through your homework  - so you can hear and see what they are hearing and seeing. They'll walk you through the whole thing giving notes along the way. They'll point out what you are doing that is working, and what you need to work on to bring your reads inline with current styles and that lesson's objectives. They'll give you detailed notes on that particular performance and what you should focus on in the future.


    They will be there for you - and are looking at your overall progress. All we took out of the equation is the scheduling difficulties!
